Description

A brief introduction to the super 1000 denier PP yarn and its application:

PP yarn or polypropylene fibers are used as a linear polymer and are prepared through the polymerization of propylene. After the catalyst was found, Zieglernata was produced. The catalyst made it possible to produce isotactic polypropylene, which has the property of crystallization.

Polypropylene fibers were manufactured industrially in Italy in 1960 under the name Meraclon and sold to the market. Polypropylene quickly grew worldwide among nations due to its characteristics and properties. After that, propylene (PP yarn) was able to achieve the fourth place after nylon, polyester and acrylic in terms of production size. This fiber is a synthetic fiber and polypropylene is a petroleum substance that is its monomer.

Both crystalline and amorphous regions were seen in these fibers. The size and amount of amorphousness and crystallinity of these fibers depend on the amount and elongation during spinning because in the tensile regions, the size and orientation of the molecular chains change and become parallel to the main axis.

PP yarn or polypropylene (PP) yarn is one of the types of synthetic yarns produced from polypropylene. This yarn is very resistant to corrosion, UV radiation and heat. For this reason, it is used to produce automotive parts, stationery, packaging and food containers. Also, this yarn is used to produce fabrics that require high resistance to moisture and water.

These fibers are mostly used very rarely in non-woven textiles and are mostly used for hygiene purposes. Other uses of pro-polyethylene include gas filters, liquid filters, air conditioning filters, water filters, air filters, oil absorbers, use in summer clothes (sweat repellent), tablecloths, wall coverings, hospital masks, concrete construction, etc.

Buying Guide:

Polypropylene thread is a popular choice for sewing a variety of fabrics and materials due to its strength, durability, and abrasion resistance. There are a few things to keep in mind when finding high-quality polypropylene thread.

  1. First, look for yarn that is made from 100% polypropylene. Some yarns labeled “polypropylene” may actually contain a blend of materials that can affect the strength and durability of the yarn.
  2. Second, consider the weight of the thread. Polypropylene thread comes in a variety of weights, from light to heavy. The weight you choose will depend on the type of fabric you are sewing and the type of stitching you plan to do.
  3. Third, look for a thread that is UV-resistant and colorfast, especially if you plan to use it in outdoor applications. This will help the thread maintain its color and strength over time.
